The school sports day was held on Thursday 2nd June 2005. As with other years the emphasis was on fun, teamwork, cooperation and participation by everyone. Teams were picked to represent ten counties and each team had a mixture of pupils ranging from junior infants up to sixth class. There were nine different stations and every child had a chance to try basketball, kick penalties, bat and ball, hoop, throw bean bags,
Later there were a number of games using the parachute and in the afternoon there were a number of novelty races including the dressing up race in which the children had great fun.
