Project on School Long Ago

Past Pupils Remember

Mrs. Lambe is a teacher at the school and we got the children to interview her. Like many children she did not enjoy school. She had mean teachers that beat the children with a cane. Her favourite teacher was Mrs Carr. One of the teachers had a big stone engagement ring and pierced into the side of the pupils heads. They had one big classroom that was split in two. There was an open fire at the top of the room. They played many games at breaktime.

Another past pupil, Frank Mahon, was interviewed. He was in school around the same time as Mrs. Lambe.
