SCULPTURE
SYMPOSIUM
Sixth
class participated in the Sculpture Project at Lough Boora in September. They
worked with a sculptor and learned how to use materials found in the peatlands
around them. They made nesting houses for the birds on the lake. A number of
sculptors completed works that have become part of the landscape at Boora, one
of which is the pyramid pictured below.
PARENTS
ASSOCIATION
The
Parents Association held their Annual General Meeting in October and a new committee
was elected. They organised a visit to the school by Santa at Christmas and every
child got a present.
A table quiz was held in the Blueball in February to raise funds for the Association and to provide a social night out for parents. A great night was had by all.
