Saint Patrick's Day
Our school entered the Saint Patrick's Day parade in Mountbolus. Our children were dressed in the colours of the rainbow representing the new multicultural Ireland.
Badminton Success
Our badminton teams won the Offaly Under 10 and Over 10 competitions for primary schools. Well done to all who competed and to their coach, Judy Bryant.
K'nex Challenge
Our senior classes participated in the K'nex Engineering challenge, in which they had to construct a piece to include specified features. Sean and Kieran won in our school and will now go forward to a regional challenge. Click here to see the different constructions.

Belvedere House
The children in the senior room were treated to a day out in Belvedere House by the Tullamore Show committee as a reward for winning the national schools section for vegetable growing.
Tullamore Show
Our school won the national schools category for vegetable growing at this year's show. This wonderful tray of vegetables grown in school received very favourable comment.

See our project on co-operation - Mid Offaly Housing Association

The senior classes entered a competition run by Laois Education Centre and sponsored by Glanbia. It involved doing a project on the theme 'Co-operation is Cool' and we chose the Mid Offaly Housing Association for our project. Eight children presented their project in Portlaoise on April 27th and we were thrilled when we won third prize. Click on the link above to see the wonderful work that was done.
