Growing Up

When I was one I ate a lot
but one day my dinner was too hot

When I was two I wanted to go to school
Because it looked really cool.

When I was three I ate some jelly
And then I sat in front of the telly.

When I was four I could climb a tree
Then I got stung by a bee.

When I was five I got a toy car
And then I ran out of the door very far.

When I was six I was on a horse
And then I fell into the gorse.

Now I am seven I can read all my books
And in our house we have cooks.
