Growing Up

When I was one I slept a lot
and I slept in a cot

When I was two I wanted to go to school
Because it was cool

When I was three I didn’t want to wear a nappy
Because I was not happy.

When I was four I learned to sing
I found a really pretty ring.

When I was five school was cool
But there were a few rules.

When I was six I got a car
And then I got a chocolate bar.

Now I am seven I can play the violin,
But everyone thinks it is a din.
